Currently, as previously mentioned, I’m waiting. I sit here, like some kind of watchman. At any moment, I’ll have to spring into action. We have an “A” team AND “B” team also ready to come here and take care of Neptune. I think we’re ready. Today, I’ll be preparing my “dad bag” — the final part of my share preparations. In that bag will be myriad things I may need for “the big moment.”

Of course: I’ll be packing my MX, loaded with HP5, and one lens, probably the 50/f2, which I hope is fast enough for hospital lighting. At any rate, it’s a simple set up. I cannot be fussing about with anything. I have to be on my absolute A game, mostly as a partner and father. But I also hope to “ninj” in and capture the first moments of a life on 35mm through my (undoubtedly) tear-filled, astigmatic eye. Is this what this was all about, all this time? I reckon, THIS is the ultimate test.

In any case, I can’t fuck this up.
