(Regarding Travel, Specifically Turkey Part II)

    Nothing went according to plan.

I actually packed my bags the night before — something I never do. I just didn’t want to be stressed, leaving stuff to the last minute. We were leaving for 2 weeks to a place I’d never been. In the end, I was rushing and I almost forgot my bloody passport.

    Kit for the trip:

    -Pentax MX

    -Yashica “SLR”

    -SMC 50/f2

    -Takumar 55/1.8 and 28/3.5

    -Asahi lens adapter

-about a dozen rolls of film, different speeds and shades

    -Pentax flash

    -cable release

    -a couple of lens hoods

    -lens pen and cloth

I found a bag in Mexico a few years ago. I never leave home without it. Now it’s a camera bag and all that shit fit in it.

Above: In the airport lounge waiting to board the first of 2 flights, Nat and Nep share a cuddle. I might have had a pint of wine. 12 hours of travel and a 7 hours time change ahead of us.

    Pentax MX, Takumar 55/f1.8, Kentmere 400, HC 110 B, 5 mins.
